I'm 4 months pregnant. I have had really bad food aversions throughout my whole pregnancy so far. Almost everything smells and looks nasty! I have to force myself to eat. Even thinking about food gives me bad heartburn. I am so picky. The ONLY things I'll eat are pomegranites, some potatoes, and mexican beans, rice, and green enchiladas from this store like 30 minutes away from my home. I can't afford to eat out all the time, and I'm starting to get sick of potatoes. I don't know what to do. I've always been a big eater. Is there a remedy for this?
I take a prenatal vitamin every day, as well as an omega 3 and calcium supplement.
Answer
in the same boat as you babe. I cant eat anything except potatoes and pizza!! Oh and that double cheeseburger from mcdonalds lol. Have you tried bagels and cream cheese?? That works for me. Im 5 months and when I was 4 it was really bad but its slowly getting better. I hope it does for you. Try chewing a tums before you eat its helped me alot.

Is fast food bad during pregnancy?
confused g
Culvers, McDonald's, Burger King, etc, and deep fried foods. Are they bad during pregnancy? Will they affect the baby at all?
Answer
they arent good for you but i dont think they will have any permanent affect on your unborn baby. It will just be more weight that you will have to work to get off afterwards and i think in general is just more unhealthy for you. The last month of my first pregnancy all i wanted was mcdonalds and i ate it too and i gained a lot of extra weight not needed at the end but my daughter was born completely fine and healthy. I am 21 weeks pregnant now and i do occasionally eat fast food but i try to get chicken instead of burgers and fries just bc i know ima hate how i look when i have my baby.
