I used a expired condom since month ago. The experation date is between July 03 to June 06. Now is Sep 07. I used like 13 of them. I don't think any of them broke during the sex but when I took them off, it dried out really quick. It's like it dries out as soon as I take it off. I'm starting to freak out because I just told my girl friend and she said she missed her period this month. Is there anyway to find out if she is pregnent this early or how to prevent her from getting pregnent?
Answer
The expiration date thing has to do more with the spermicidal coating, and how brittle the latex may become. They just don't work as well after the "best use by" date, or at least not as reliably as the company is willing to guarentee. As far as the situation with the girlfriend, if she has passed the date she expected to start on, any at home pregnancy test will give you the answers you both seek. It's a bit late to worry about prevention of pregnancy. Either she is already pregnant, or she isn't. You mixed the recipe to make a baby, and that is a possiblity- even though the condom is meant as a protection, they do fail to work. If she is pregnant, then you both have some very hard questions to answer and some realities to face. So buy a home pregnancy test, and get that question answered first. And while you are there, buy some new condoms. After she either confirms or eliminates the possibility of pregnancy, then you can deal with the rest.

ok my gf had sex with a guy at a party due to the fact that the guy had gotten her drunk, any ways 2 weeks later, we started dating, now a week from that , today, she tells me that she has been vomiting alto, and im scared shes pregnant, its been four weeks, any ways, should she get an abortion , i have never had sex with her or any other girl, and shes only had sex once, shes 14 for crying out loud, i dont want her to be a mom at this age, il be there every step of the way if she decides to get one, what should i do, any ways is she pregnant
Answer
First of all, she needs to take a pregnancy test to determine whether or not she's actually pregnant. Just because she has been vomiting a lot lately, it doesn't necessarily mean she's pregnant -- she might just have a stomach bug or a mild case of food poisoning or something. Nobody on this website can tell you for sure whether or not your girlfriend is pregnant -- she needs to take a test to find out. You can buy a home pregnancy test for her at virtually any pharmacy or supermarket in the U.S., or she can get one done at her doctor's office or at any Planned Parenthood health care center in the country. Bottom line: she needs to take a pregnancy test in order to determine whether or not she's actually pregnant. The sooner, the better.
If she IS pregnant, she basically has three options: abortion, adoption, and parenthood. Really, the choice of what to do about her pregnancy is entirely up to her. Her body, her choice. Try to be supportive of her decision no matter what it may be.
Since she's so young, abortion may be the best and most responsible option. You're both so young -- you both have your whole lives ahead of you. Having a baby would change your lives completely. Bringing a child into this world when you know you are not physically, emotionally, psychologically, or financially ready to raise a child isn't fair to the parents OR the baby. It's not "brave" or "responsible" -- in fact, it's downright irresponsible. Giving birth to a child that you do not truly want and can't afford to raise is just a recipe for disaster. Teenage mothers rarely graduate high school or go on to college or ever manage to earn decent-paying jobs. They almost always end up relying on government aid (welfare) at some point in their lives, and they're statistically likely to suffer from severe emotional and psychological problems later on in life. Teens who are pregnant or are mothers are seven times more likely to commit suicide than those who are not. Believe me, it's better to wait until you graduate high school, get a decent job, save up some money, and get married before you start thinking about starting a family.
If it turns out that she's pregnant and is having trouble deciding what to do next, my best advice is to take her to her local Planned Parenthood health care center, where the staff can explain all of options to her in detail and help her make the decision that would be best for her and her life. To find the Planned Parenthood nearest you, just go to the Planned Parenthood website and type in your zipcode:

I hope that helped. Best of luck with everything!
