and then not lose it and complain about how fat they are? how come women think they can use pregnancy as an ewxcuse to do nothing and have as much food as they want and not exercise? why do women gain 50+ pounds during a pregnancy? all y0u really need to gain is 10. geez.

Frank, I question your motives to ask these questions. How many women are you disgusted by that have gained too much weight (in your opinion), not exercised and use it as an "excuse"? Who informed you that gaining only 10 pounds was healthy for the Momma or the baby? Stop obsessing and go for a run, it's healthier.

In Florida (I assume its the same or close in all states) you would receive for pregnancy with one child:
5.5 gal milk and no cheese or 4.75 gal milk and 1 lb cheese (split up 2 gallons on 2 checks and 1.5 on the last check)
1 dozen eggs
144 oz juice (I get it on 2 different checks 96 oz and 48 oz)
36 oz cereal on one check
1 lb dry beans (or you can choose 4 cans of beans) and 18 oz peanut butter OR 2 lb dry beans (or 8 cans of beans) or 36 oz peanut butter on one check
$10.00 Fruits & Vegetables voucher (on its own check)
1 lb whole grains (here its select whole wheat breads, brown rice or corn tortillas)
If you are having more that one baby the multiply these amounts by 1.5 so you would get 50% more for each baby.
These amounts change when the baby is born. You will only receive it for 6 months after the baby is born if you choose the formula feed. Also you will only receive it for as long as you breastfeed up to one year. And after you baby is 6 months old they now give you jarred stage 2 baby foods and cereal.
If you formula feed your baby gets after 6 months:
128 oz baby fruits and vegetables(about 32 4 oz jars or about one a day ), formula and baby cereal
If you breastfeed your baby gets after 6 months:
256 oz baby fruits and vegetables (about 64 4 oz jars or about two a day ), 77.5 oz baby meat jars (31 jars or one a day) and baby cereal
