Answer
Teens can be perfectly healthy on vegetarian diets. The American Dietetic Association is one of the nation's leading nutrition experts and it states: "Well-planned vegan and other types of vegetarian diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including during pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood and adolescence."

To be a healthy vegetarian, include a variety of fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, and grains in your diet. Also, make sure you're getting enough calories; don't just eat low-calorie foods like vegetables.
This site has a list of vegetarian foods that are high in protein, iron, and calcium: http://www.tryveg.com/cfi/toc/?v=08sources
Fake meats are usually full of protein and other nutrients. My favorites are: Tofurkey Deli Slices, Nate's Meatless Meatballs, Gardenburger Riblets, Smart Bacon, and Morningstar Farms Meal Starters Chik'n Strips.
There's a list of other popular products here: http://www.vegcooking.com/guide-favs.asp

Good luck!
